Tips for a good ID photo

• Face the light so your face is evenly lit, with no shadows.
• Use a plain, light background such as a white wall.
• Look straight at the camera with a neutral expression, mouth closed and eyes open.
• The photo must be recent and sharp, with no filters or retouching.
• Glasses must not cause glare; if in doubt, take them off.

Formats

We currently support 35×45 mm (used in the EU and many other countries) and 51×51 mm (2×2 in, USA). Requirements differ by country and document, so always check the official rules before applying.
